We’re very proud to sponsor Isaac Neff, from Team Neff Cycle Service. Isaac is a 2-time National Cyclocross Champion, and owner of Neff Cycle Service.
What’s your name?
What’s your sport?
Bicycle racing! I race mostly mountain bikes in the summer and starting in September I race cyclocross
Are you part of a team?
Yes, Team Neff Cycle Service
Who are your other sponsors?
We have a host of great sponsors, Rocky Mountain bikes and NOX wheels for mountain bike and Van Dessel Cycles and Boyd wheels for cyclocross, SRAM components, Kakookies, ESI Grips, Borah Team Wear, Metro Ford, Functional Integrated Training, Honey Stinger, SLF Motion, Food Fight and lots of individuals who are great supporters.
What’s your day job?
I own Neff Cycle Service. Neff Cycle Service specializes in top quality bicycle service work and mobile bike repairs. We can come to your home or work and service your bike on the spot. We also provide wheel building, suspension service and custom bike sales and fitting.
How’s your season going? Any big results?
The 2017 season has been solid with lots of good results, but nothing big yet. That said, I won two Cyclocross National Championship titles in January of 2017, but I would consider that last season!
How did you find Integration Bodywork?
Through word of mouth and some teammates
Which therapist do you usually see, and how often?
I have been seeing Megan once a week.
How does regular massage and bodywork support your sport performance?
Recovery is key to being able to train harder, I find that regular massage helps me recover quicker and get ready for the next workout of race.
How does that change over the course of the competitive season?
Once I get into the later part of the season I find it harder to recover from workouts quickly and things start to have some muscle tightness issues, getting regular massages really has helped work this out and keep me feeling fresh.
What do you wish other people knew about Integration Bodywork?
That Integration Bodywork will work with you to find the root cause of issues, that could be as simple as why one part of your leg is so sore or something more major.
What’s next on the competitive calendar for you?
